Shinjiru Review: Privacy-Focused Offshore Hosting

This review summarizes official product information together with user feedback and expert reviews from trusted sources (listed at the end). Prices change often, so always confirm the current offer on the official site.

Overview

Shinjiru is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and has offered hosting for more than two decades. It is known for offshore hosting that values privacy and freedom of speech, with servers in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Lithuania.

Key features

• Offshore shared hosting, VPS and dedicated servers
• DDoS-protected options
• Payment by card, PayPal, wire transfer and cryptocurrencies
• Anonymous sign-up options

Pricing

Shared hosting plans start at around $3.95 per month. Reviewers note that cheaper hosts exist, but few combine Shinjiru's offshore locations and privacy focus.

What users say

WebsitePlanet rates Shinjiru highly and praises its support, while noting that offshore hosts generally trail mainstream hosts on speed. Trustpilot feedback is mixed: some users praise stable, fast service and pricing, while others report slow support during outages.

Verdict

A reasonable choice if privacy and offshore locations matter most. For ordinary business websites, a mainstream host may offer better performance per dollar.
